in Cheju City, Sogwipo City and the Chungmun Resort Complex.

Tourist Hotels
Tourist hotels are registered with the government and are classified according to size,
quality of service, and facilities available.
Hotels are classified into five groups : super deluxe, deluxe, first class, second class,
and third class.
Facilities in most tourist hotels include one or more bars and cocktail lounges, restaurants,
onsite recreational facilities such as tennis courts and swimming pools, souvenir shops,
game rooms, barber shops and beauty salones, laundries, and saunas.

In tourist hotels a 10% VAT is chared on rooms, meals and other services, and a 10% service
charge is added to the bill. Therefore, tipping is not required.

Camp Sites
All around the Cheju Island, including the mountain and shore regions,
is suitable for camping. For the purpose of conservation and protection of the natural
environment, certain areas espercially attractive and convenient for camping have
been specifically designated as camping sites.
The beach areas with spectacular scenery and white sands are named as the best
place for camping among campers.
